The sculpture of one single foraged vine and recycled copper wire references the ancient weaving technique of looping that has been used across human cultures for thousands of years. The looping creates patterns and a harmonious rhythm that generates movement, building a distinctive rhythm in each section of the sculpture, signifying its impact of how our energy flows through spaces and relationships. The jewel of colour at the centre of the sculpture creates a rhythm that highlights that only in times of darkness and despair, that the light emerges. That’s when we can see the stars.
