LOOPING SCULPTURES WORKSHOP
19 May 2019 – 10am – 4pm
Where: Catriona Pollard Artist Showroom, Level 1, 4 Young St Neutral Bay
Cost: $195 inc GST and materials
Learn the looping (also known as knotless netting) basketry technique. This is a wonderful technique to learn, and you will be weaving a wall piece using foraged vine and jute. During this full-day basketry workshop, there will be time to explore this beautiful weaving technique and you will leave confident in the technique so you can continue at home.
It’s a small class so you get hands-on tuition from an expert.
Materials included, but bring any inclusions you like such as small sticks, shells, leaves, seedpods etc.
Suitable for beginners, or intermediate weavers. (If you’ve never done weaving before – perfect! You’ll love it and leave with a finished sculpture).
